• A good florist should be able to provide a portfolio featuring a large selection of different styled bouquets and flower arrangements.
• Agree that they will be there putting together your flowers on your wedding day.
• Ask the florist what provisions they make in order to keep the flowers fresh for when they are needed.
• What back-up plan do they have available if the flowers do not arrive on time for the wedding.
• You might want to preserve your flowers after the wedding so it might be worth asking the florist if they offer an aftercare service or can they provide an alternative such as artificial or silk flowers.
• When you ask each florist for a quote make sure they include all the hidden extras such as their transport costs, ribbons, wire, their service and VAT, that way you shouldn't have any surprises.
