Does the father of the groom wear the same suits as the men in the bridal party?

We have a bit of a complicated family set up (hey, who doesn't?!) so I need to make sure I have my facts right before I broach the subject with him...

Hi,

If you're planning on having him at the top table you would have him in the same suit as the rest of the wedding party. That is what we'll be doing. He also has an important role as father of the groom and will be thanked during the speeches. You'll need to make sure you don't offend him by not including him in wearing the same suit.

I guess you are right. He will be at teh top table, so it makes sense that he is dressed similar to the rest of the bridal party.
